Along with yesterdays symptoms i woke up this morning with pain in my neck on the left back side. it's been stiff and sore all day.can they be related?

Maybe (not) . . .: Not sure what your symptoms were yesterday. Sorry but this system doesn't allow for linking your posts (not that I'm aware). Neck pain, stiff & sore all day, has a multitude of causes, most commonly related to overuse, trauma/injury, incorrect sleep position eg couch or wrong pillow. Redness & swollen glands could be infection. Of course, stiff neck, headache plus fever is worrisome for meningitis

What's yesterday's: Not knowing what were yesterday's symptoms , I think you need to seek \ medical care immediately. I presume that you did not sustain a neck injury in which case an orthopedic consult would be more appropriate.
