I have had neck/shoulder pain/stiffness along with a small lump on the back of my neck for about 11 days (also sore throat). the pain mostly went away after a week, but the lump remains, and now have scalp/neck itchiness. neg mono test/normal xray?

It may be an enlarged lymph node. You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
