Trypophobia is a: fear of holes and irregular shapes. It's not an official diagnosis but if it bothers you it is important. You can see a clinical psychologist for a process called systematic desensitization. SD is used to treat various forms of phobias and it may be of help. Phobias to spiders,snakes, and perhaps the one you mention may be od traits that are carried in our brains to protect us.
