It's a true: phobia. Talk to your doctor about ways to treat or confront this. With work you can overcome this phobia

Not officially, but: An article published in Psychological Science (Cole GG;Wilkins AJ,Psychol Sci.2013; 24(10):1980-5) describes fear of/revulsion to holes(trypophobia).A theory is this is an innate phobia, due to dangers in nature of such holes (eg, bee hives).Although not generally recognized at this time by the medical community, if you feel the fear, you feel it.Cognitive behavioral therapy can help with phobias.
