Behavioral treatment: Simple phobias are usually best treated with a combination of learning a variety of relaxation skills and techniques and pairing this with successive approach or imagery of the feared object(s). A clinical psychologist can help with this. Some universities have fear and anxiety clinics that specialize in this, but there are also private practitioners that can help. Very treatable - good luck.

CBT for some works: In contrast to other forms of psychotherapy, cognitive therapy is usually more focused on the present, more time-limited, and more problem-solving oriented. In addition, patients learn specific skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. These skills involve identifying distorted thinking, modifying beliefs, relating to others in different ways, and changing behaviors.
