There may be an infection either in your inner ear or back where the ear meets the throat. Please seek medical attention as soon as you can for diagnosis and treatment and to alleviate your pain.

An exam of your: tonsils might show enlargement and this can explain your ear pain and trouble swallowing. Please consult your primary care doctor.
