Non usually: Stroke doesn't usually cause fever so I'd be concerned that she has 2 problems. Sometimes when someone has a stroke, they aspirate their saliva (or food) and get a pneumonia. Her outlook depends on the extent of the stroke, her overall condition, her other medical issues, and if/how quickly she starts to get better. So sorry - hope she recovers quickly.
