Post virus myalgia: Where did she travel? In the Caribbean Chikungunya virus is known for severe myalgias after the virus, West Nile can also cause myalgias . Treatment for persistent myalgias after the virus is symptomatic NSAIS ( motrin), PT, possbilly steroids could also try gabapentin
