Friday the 25th my mom got a tetanus shot and her arm is still hurting and also she had terrible migraines, fevers of 100.4 and up and is a bit nausea?

Movement after shot: Very common to be sore for up to a week after tetanus shot. Paradoxically, the more she babies the arm, the more sore she will be. Have her move it normally, and drink a lot of water. If her fever goes past 100.5 have her call her family doc.

Arm pain: The arm pain is normal after tetanus injection, but fever is normally mild and transient (not late). The reason she got the inoculation was trauma? She should contact the physician who saw her for trauma, she may have a complication of her wound, not the shot.

I am sorry!: Tetanus Injection hurts for at least 3 days. Fever could be from injection. Did she get it as a part of Preventive visit or because of some external injury? If she has would, check that it is not infected, Her migraine is making her nauseous. Migraine Could have been triggered by this Injection. Have her drink plenty of water, Tyleno for pain and Fever and rest. She will feel better tomorrow
