Yes: Chronic pain and significantly enlarged lymph nodes are never normal.

SIJ?: 20's male with chronic intermittent unilateral "hip pain & groin lymph nodes" with "activity" had "normal" ultrasound. Apparently, doctor didn't find enlarged nodes, which might be patient's self-diagnosis; otherwise further studies would be in order; even biopsy. Assuming "enlarged nodes" are "red-herring", see Osteopath to rule out sacroiliac joint disorder w. groin pain radiation.
