Rectal intussuscepti: Rectal intussusception is also often referred to as rectal prolapse. It's most common in women who have had vaginal childbirth, with damage to the pelvic floor. The most common symptom is a feeling of obstruction of stool, which is made worse by straining. Most patients respond to dietary changes or retraining. Some require surgery. You should follow up with your doctor to make a plan. Good luck.
