Nonspecific : The symptoms you describe are too nonspecific. Amylase and lipase levels rarely correlate with pancreatic cancer. You're very young to have pancreatic cancer. Is there a family history or other reason you are concerned? In general, however, persistent pain warrants further investigation.

My lipase level is very low, amylase normal, left upper pain, light stools, CT is negative, pancreatic insufficiency maybe? Started 3wks ago.
Amylase was 208 U/L (ref range 31-110) and lipase was 253 U/L (ref range 13-78). CT of pancreas was normal but have symptoms like nausea, fatty stools, fatigue and weight loss with extreme thirst. Could it be chronic pancreatitis instead of acute?
Do yellow stools always mean p/cancer? G/bladder liver had no masses. Amylase/lipase normal, bilirubin,alkaline phosphatase normal. Symptoms, gas/bloat yellow stool only. Wait for CT result. Scared!
What causes steatorrhoea, highish blood amylase & occasionally lipase, loose pale stools? Normal abdominal ultrasound, CT and colonoscopy.
