Mgt/workup: I would suggest having a check up and lab evaluation to include an analysis of your electrolytes.

Eds: there are many types of Ehler Danlos syndrome and each varies in its clinical presentation. Often pain is related to joints, but when a joint is subjected to unusual stress, it can stress the muscles leading to spasm and pain. Genetic tests are now available that leads to an earlier disgnosis ( as early as infancy)
