A member asked:

Should i use sudafed and throat lozenges? throat feels dry/sore, not much voice, but other than that, i feel fine.

Throat discomfort: You can use throat lozenges for symptomatic care, but they do not last too long. Gargling with Listerine &/or warm salt water, may help to soothe and improve your symptoms longer. If you have any other symptoms, like nasal congestion or post-nasal drip, use of nasal steroids & antihistamines like Flonase & Allegra respectively, could help. Any fevers, see your doc for possible antibiotics.
