A member asked:

I have a dry cough, slight sore throat and lost my voice a little. are these symptoms of laryngitis? if not what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Laryngitis: Yes, it is possibly viral laryngitis and if you are still smoking you need to stop. It could also be bronchitis. Both are likely to heal with rest, lots of fluids, voice rest, and time. If you get a high fever or start coughing up green phlegm you should see your doctor.
