I have a sore throat for 4-5 weeks now.. started of with a cause a post nasal drip, when i used to cough i will go in a mode of laryngospasm... which was frightening.. now if i massage my throat it feels ok.. but if i leave it gets dry. hoarse voice.

Sore throat: sore throat can be for multiple reasons. Allergies viral or bacterial infection. Processes that affect the recurrent laryngeal nerve such as thyroid enlargement or tumor. Polyps to the vocal cord can cause symptoms.
