Sore throat x5days, tender neck nodes, pain swallowing, headache, red streaks on uvula, sweating/chills, nausea. bad cold? flu? there is no fever.

Pharyngitis+/- sinus: This isn't the cold or flu. This could be bacterial or viral pharyngitis. It could also be sinusitis (you said you had a headache). The neck nodes are anterior cervical chain lymphadenopathy..it goes along with this. Most infections of this type begin to resolve around this time. If it doesn't get any better in the next 48-72 hours..call your PCP.
