Vomiting: can be caused by many things, but the most likely with an abrupt onset like this would be a viral gastroenteritis. Since the vomit was clear, it suggests that he has been able to digest his last meal, which makes a bowel obstruction unlikely. Also, ask you child about a possible head injury. Falls in gym class are not uncommon and vomiting is seen with concussion. Not all kids are lethargic.
