Find cause: She needs further testing to find out the cause. It could be from a viral hepatitis like B or C or it could be from some other cause. She needs an ultrasound of her liver and further liver blood testing to determine the cause. She should drink no alcohol and take no acetaminophen as they irritate the liver.
