Hi, i had blood work done at our local health fair, and my results came today. they indicate that i have an 8.5 total protein. what does that mean?

No worries.: Blood contains proteins in it and they serve very important purpose. There is an upper limit for the proteins to be in the blood and it is usually from 6 o 8.3. Your result is a tad bit higher than upper limit and does not warrant any specific worry. If you are concerned then get it checked again through your Physician and not to worry. Good luck.
