What does elevated c reactive protein mean on blood work? mine showed 15 and reference range is 8. should i be concerned?

How do you FEEL?: Nobody really knows what to do with this lab. It's ordered by physicians because people with very severe atherosclerosis produce the stuff in the plaques themselves "making it a risk factor". In people who appear otherwise healthy, it's not clear that a mild elevation like this means anything at all. I'd stay fit and stop worrying.
