There is: no way to make a definitive pathologic diagnosis of a cystic ovarian mass on ultrasound, as there is much overlap between the ultrasound appearances of various ovarian cystic lesions. Talk to your doctor. You may need to have it surgically removed for a definitive diagnosis.
