Ventilation.: I presume you're talking about breathing and lung volume. Then it is PFT --- Pulmonary function test.

Ventilation is...: the removal of CO2. If your CO2 level is high on an ABG, then you are not ventilating appropriately. Pulmonary Function tests can be used to help figure out the cause.
