I've had lower right abdomen pain for 6 weeks, have had an mri scan showing a 3cm ovarian cyst. is this common and what is likely to be the next step?

Ov cysts r common: Ovarian cysts are common, in fact they occur every month you cycle. If they're simple, no worry. If you're post menopausal, you'll need further evaluation. You should discuss w/the doctor who ordered the scan.
