Not sure: Maybe there is something more going on than an ovarian cyst rupture. Ovarian cysts can cause pain and sometimes if they bleed a little, the pain can be very slow to resolve over the course of weeks. If your pain is persisting over the course of multiple cycles, then you need evaluation for other causes, such as infections in the pelvic area.
