B12: B12 is a water soluble vitamin and relatively safe. There are several common preparations, and you can consider a sublingual tablet once daily if desired. However, you may not notice any improvement in your overall health and may end up spending money needlessly.

100 mcg: Your B 12 level is on the low side of the normal range. 100 mcg daily should suffice. Let your doc know that you take OTC B12 if you do. Ideally you will need a repeat B 12 level in 2-3 months. If B 12 still lower than 300 would suggest injectable B 12 if your symptoms, CBC, etc suggest a macroscopic anemia.
