Need Dental apt: You need to be seen by your dentist. A decision will then be made about the treatment needed. It is impossible to give you more direction without an exam.

No: If teeth are infected it is safest to get the infection treated first with antibiotics then have the tooth removed.

Infection: Treat the pain and wait for the infection to resolve. Your oral surgeon will know best. I hope you feel better soon.

Yes: Yes. Depends on the circumstances. Ideally, infection controlled first. But we remove teeth as you describe frequently. Most important is to make sure you're being treated by a board certified oral surgeon

It is recommended: It is often recommended wisdom teeth extraction with infection and severe pain. Antibiotics may be prescribed before the extraction.

It is Possible: An extraction could be done but an exam to determine this would first be needed. As long as there is no to slight swelling and the area can to put to sleep then an extraction should be able to be preformed. Other wise oral or even IV antibiotics and pain medication needs to be given first.

Oral Surgeon: Your best bet is to have an oral surgeon evaluate your infected teeth and advise you when they can be extracted.

Yes: An Oral Surgeon will help you control the pain, reduce the infection, and then will safely and comfortably remove the offending tooth/teeth.

Yes/depends: depends on how infected but in general yes you can but it may take longer and more anesthetic to get you profoundly numb/comfortable for the treatment (some patients you may not get them to that state but that is up to the dentist/OS to determine with the patients help.) If you are having major issues please contact your local dentist.
