Oral infection: You may be dealing with an ongoing problem with a wisdom tooth. Particularly if partially or near totally "impacted" (hopelessly trapped in bone and out of position) these teeth can be a source of significant facial and neck space infection. While Ludwigs is a rare occurrence, it seems that someone or something has prompted this concern in you. An exam and discussion with an oral surgeon is best.
