See your dentust: It shouldn't be a problem to use a treadmill with tmj. Ask your dentist to make you an occlusal gaurd so your teeth aren't clenched during strenuous workouts. This soft plastic cushions your teeth and relieves joint stress. Hope this helps!

Low impact only: Exercises such as running or jogging on treadmill, in which your teeth tend to clamp together, can exacerbate TMJ symptoms. Ask your dentist for custom mouth splint for day exercises.
