A member asked:

Can tmj cause ear pain and pressure and sore throat?

Usually, no: Combination of ear pain and sore throat may be something different than tmj. On occasion some 'ear pain' can be associated with tmj. Get evaluated by an md to eval source of sore throat, and have them determine if there is a connection to your 'ear pain'..

Yes it can: Tmj dysfunction frequently is associated with ear pain. Myofascial pain dysfunction which is spasm of the muscles of mastication and frequently called a TMJ problem can cause a sore throat.
