Anemia: The numbers are the picture of microcytic (small cells) and hypo-chromic anemia. Usually this is iron deficiency anemia, but in some people can also be a sign of an abnormal hemoglobin (Thalassemia.) Best to have further testing to determine which of these is to blame. Hgb electorphoresis and iron studies.
