Sinus infection/cold in last two months; tonsils inflamed for 3 weeks and wont go away despite levaquin (levofloxacin) and prednisone for the sinus issue. no symptom?

Tonsillitis: These organs are part of the immune system and when inflamed are generally doing their job appropriately. Occasionally they may be overwhelmed by infection and then have to be removed, but this decision is best made by frequency of symptomatic disease and examination by an ENT doctor.
