If there were: red objects in the pepperoni, red streak in stool might come from it. Have your doctor test your stool for occult blood just to be sure.

Red streaks: I agree. These episodes of red coloration due to food (like beets) do not cause anything except prompt us to check bowel. RECTAL (digital) EXAM being the most important+ (anoscopy) because occult blood could be +ve due to hemorroids, then mandating flex sig. Routine flex sig rec.after 50y age if no +ve family history.thx
