Think differently: Some medicines tend to be more effective than others and tend to be freer of side effects than others. But each person is different, and an individualized approach is called for. It is unclear what sort of anxiety you have. It would be best to give your psychiatrist information, and assist him or her in deciding what kind of anxiety you have, and proposing treatments for it, medication or other.
