Depends on cause: There are many potential causes of anemia but the most common is lack of iron. Iron supplements are difficult to absorb; I advise iron glycinate or iron bis-glycinate. Taking with Vit. C enhances absorption. Anemia can also be caused by deficiencies of Vit. B12 and folic acid. You should also eat foods that are rich in iron. First find the cause: Anemia is common. It has many causes including blood loss and sometimes from deficiency of iron, Folic acid or B-12. You need to have a medical examination to first find the cause and then receive the appropriate treatment. Taking Vitamins blindly is unlikely to help you in correcting your anemia.

Depends on the cause: There are different causes of anemia. Common causes include Iron and B vitamin deficiencies. Iron deficiency can be treated with Iron, vitamin C 500mg and vitamin D3 5000iu daily. B vitamin deficiency can be treated with Methylated B12 with Methylated folic acid twice a day with a B complex vitamin 100mg at breakfast. It is important to have your doctor check your iron and B vitamin levels.
