Is 1000 mcg of vitamin b-12 per day ok for someone who is borderline anemic? or is it too high if a dose?

Taking this amount will not do any harm. It may not help either if you are not deficient in B12. Your doctor should ascertain the cause of your anemia and treat accordingly. Wish you good health!
