Safe: Generic multivitamins like Flintstones dosed for age group do not have excessive amounts of any one component so you should not be concerned you will "overdose" your child on iron or any other vitamin included in the formulation. While multivitamins are nice supplements, a well balanced diet is more important. If your child eats well you are likely wasting money on supplements.
