Only "good" if low: Anemia from blood loss doesn't need vitamins. Anemia from acute leukemia doesn't need vitamins. Supplemental vitamins (in food or pills) are only useful if there is a vitamin deficiency. First is diagnosis (anemia) and etiology (cause). Then replacement (if needed). Anemia can be caused by iron defiency or B12 or folate (folic acid) deficiency. The good/right vitamin depends on the problem.
