A member asked:

I am scheduled for a ventra hernia repair with component separation and have a large pannus.. how will the incision affect it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Surgery: Thank you for your question! Having a large pannus essentially puts you at a slightly higher surgical risk. The main risks are a higher risk of infection over the incision site. Good luck with your surgery!
