Strange,: As my belief was that maybe the pain was due to a peripheral nerve possibly caught in scar tissue. If the injection was in proper place but did not help i would go back to the surgeon -if he was not "the injector:"- let him/her examine you. First one have to eliminate that the complaint id from the surgery before looking for other possibilities.
