Had hernia surgery, umbilical, on left side 2 days ago. 2 questions 1 to remove bandages, need i get wet and in a shower, to make it easier? i am bit fearful of pulling the sticky large band aid off dry, as wonder if it could harm the incision area?

Just let the dressing fall off by itself—no help from you! You should be able to shower now but don’t scrub/wash around the surgical site. No baths or swimming pools, or getting into any body of water other than a clean water shower until okayed by your surgeon. Heal quickly and stay well! Oh, and no lifting until the okay from your surgeon...
