SET BOUNDARIES: BIPOLAR INDIVIDUALS CAN BE VERY MANIPULATIVE AND TEND TO BE HIGHLY INTELLIGENT. They tend to be non-compliant with Meds. You must set strict boundaries with BPD or they will DOMINATE YOUR LIFE. Make sure they get regular followup with medication titration and reevaluation. REMEMBER YOUR LIFE AND HAPPINESS ARE ESSENTIAL. If they become TOXIC, limit your exposure.
