Normal pulse is: lower, especially at rest. Go to your MD for an eval. Anxiety will raise pulse rates across the board because of the constant infusion of adrenaline into the bloodstream. Adrenaline is the body's own version of speed, only not addicting, because your body made it. But, it is designed to keep you more alert, and tachycardia is one of 33 symptoms of such a state.
