Ablation of what?: i will assume a microwave ablation in the neck? Such being the case, it may not be that unusual. That being said, I suggest you call or visit the physician who performed the procedure and talk to him/her.

What was ablated?: Have you talked to the doctor who performed the ablation. If you haven't you definitely should! Please provide more details about the procedure and its indications. Was it an ablation performed by cardiology or interventional radiology doctors? Cardiologist can ablate heart tissue to cure cardiac Arrhythmia. Interventional radiologists ablate tumors in the liver, kidneys, lung and bone.
