There's a thing called the gastrocolic reflex, so when you eat if there's any stool in thecolon there's at least an urge to go. It's a normal thing, don't get excited about that. Also, whenever you have some clinically interesting going oneith your child, call your GP to discuss, won't hurt ?

I never would: Unless you are talking about the "children's pepto", regular pepto contains subsalycelate, a chemical relative of aspirin which we don't give to kids under age 16.
