Unlikely: The pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) may help reduce some of the upset stomach and cramping associated with the laxative. Its best to avoid using a laxative for now. If the constipation returns, consider using Miralax ( polyethylene glycol) 17 grams ( one capful) in 8 ounces of liquid and drink.
