I am 40,ever since i had taken antibiotics for my vaginal cyst i am facing this problem of spotting even after a week or 16th day after my periods.

Need exam: Antibiotics would only be used for a cyst if it were an abcess. If you are still having abnormal bleeding after finishing the antibiotics an exam is in order. The stress of the infection could cause this but it sounds as if this has been going on for several cycles and that needs to be looked into. You could have a polyp, abnormal cervical cells,or an infection that has not gone away completely.
