Gyno prescribed metta sr metformin 500mg for life. also, aldactone (spironolactone) 50mg for 1 month. metformin is to increase to 100mg in 2 weeks. is she right? pcos

Metformin: No one should need metformin for life. Please set up an appointment with a diabetes educator. If you don't have diabetes metformin won't be of much help and almost certainly not "lifelong".
