Typically developing: 8- month -olds can eat fork-mashed soft foods & finger foods. They also repeat behaviors which garner negative or positive attention. Offer food at pleasant, sit-down family meals & snacks. Don't nudge her to eat. With an emerging pincer grasp, she can finger feed soft diced food & hold a spoon. Brush her teeth after meals & before bed. The AAP's Guide to Your Child's Nutrition is ~ $9 on Amazon.
