No: the separator is only for symptom relief, it will not correct the Bunion, make sure you modify your shoe, and as long as the deformity and symptoms are not severe, do not have surgery. Good luck

No: Bunion deformity is bony abnormality that is causes by muscle imbalance and develops over time. The only way to "manage" bunion deformity is surgery. The bone need to be realigned and no separator or aligning splint will achieve this. It may help with the pain and other symptoms but it will not correct it. I do recommend you wearing the splint if that makes you feel better.
